Pyramids

2012-03-072014-02-02

A print-and-play race to build the pyramids! My second dice game, created for my game design course.

Build a city to support the construction of your pyramid. Build fast enough and you can take property from your opponent! Can you finish your pyramid first?

My goal with this game was to take a deck-building/resource-gathering mechanic (like Settlers of Catan or Dominion) and condense it into a print-and-play format. The end result? This game provides a deck-building feel, but all you need is three colored dice and a printed copy of the board! There’s much more strategy to this game than my last one. It’s also less tested – I may release an update in the future.

Note: Some copyrighted images were used in development of this game. They are used for educational purposes here, and will be replaced soon.

Requires one board (download and print), three six-sided dice (must all be different colors), two different colors of pencil/pen. Give it a try! I’d love to hear some feedback.
