| [[:people:Yotam Haimberg]] said this was good. I've played into the third act of this game as of 2021-12-20 and it's pretty good. Since I started played it, both NPR and Polygon have put it on game-of-the-year lists, and I have mixed feelings about whether it really qualifies - it got popular around late October and so much of the game's appeal is the surprising twists and turns, I wonder if it will really hold up. Still, dripping with atmosphere and does mash up some new ideas, and unlike [[Pony Island]] the core gameplay loop is quite a bit of fun, an unbalanced-in-a-fun-way small numbers combat card game. We'll see how I feel when I've finished it. | [[:people:Yotam Haimberg]] said this was good. I've played into the third act of this game as of 2021-12-20 and it's pretty good.
